Sacramental Preparation 
The parish of St. Mary offers the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. These sacraments are an early step on your child’s journey of faith - not the end of the journey. It will be the beginning of life-long communion in the Catholic faith.
Reconciliation and the Body and Blood of Christ will be available to strengthen and grace your child at every step of life’s journey. Parents of children beyond the age of seven,(2nd grade) will partake in preparing the student to receive Reconciliation in December and Holy Eucharist in May.

Fall
October 17, 2010 Approaching the Sacrament of Reconciliation/ Child and Parent 1:30– 3:00 pm Must attend
October 24, 2010 Rite of Enrollment of Candidates for First Reconciliation 9:30 Mass
December 4, 2010 Sacrament of First Reconciliation 9:30 am in the church
Winter
February 27, 2011 Approaching the Sacrament of Eucharist/Parent & Candidate Day 1:30 pm—3:00 pm Candidates and 1 Parent Must attend
March 6, 2011 Rite of Enrollment of Candidates for First Holy Communion 9:30 Mass
Spring
April 12, 2011 Communion Pictures at church 5:00 pm Individual 6:00 pm Group
April 16, 2011 Saturday @ 10:00 am—2:30 pm 2 grade Jesus Day Retreat Child must attend Rehearsal for Holy Communion on this day
May 7, 2011 Group communion at 10:00 am & 12:00 pm Mass
